#4. Dealers must sign and return the W-9 Form (this does not apply if you are outside the USA)
#5. Dealers must fax either a copy of:
- Seller's Permit (This link is only for California. If you are in a different state you should search for (google) the one corresponding to your state) OR
- Uniform Sales & Use Tax Certificate (Dealers should ensure they understand their state's current rules regarding this certificate. Refer to the Multistate Tax Commission website for additional info. This does not apply if you are outside the USA)
#6. Purchase any two 7 plate ionizers at a modified dealer price. First two machines are discounted, please call for current discount princing.
* In order to be eligible to receive Dealer Referred Credits, you must complete all five steps above to qualify. Dealers living outside the United States do not need steps #4 or #5.

Q&A:
1 Q. Do I have to buy and stock ionizers myself?
A. No, we are happy to drop ship the products for you.
2 Q. How would that work?
A. Take the payment from your customer. Log onto the dealer page from your home page. Then, purchase the order with your credit card. Enter your billing information and your customer's name and address for the "ship to" section.
3 Q. How long will it take for the order to arrive?
A. Chanson ionizers are shipped from Laguna Niguel, California by UPS or USPS. Orders placed on a Friday after shipping time, will not be sent out until Monday.

4 Q. Do you charge sales tax?
A. All Dealers must have a Seller's Permiton file with us before your purchase is placed. Otherwise, you will be charged tax if your item is shipped to California.
5 Q. How do I apply for a Sales/Seller’s Permit?
A. You call the franchise tax board for your state. In California you can apply over the phone and there is no fee. Visit http://www.boe.ca.gov/info/reg.htm for more information (California Only)
6 Q. Can you provide me a web site?
A. Yes, you will be able to buy it once you register as a dealer on the Dealer FAQ page. Your site name will have your dealer username, and it is case sensitive.
7 Q. Will it have my own shopping cart and merchant account?
A. No, it will be set up for customers to call you and arrange payment. However, if you set up your own merchant account we will put in 3 purchase buttons for you. There are additional fees for extra buttons and logo. You will be able to purchase them once you become a dealer on the Dealer FAQ page.
8 Q. Who sets up my shopping cart and merchant account?
A. You do. Marketer’s Choice and Authorize.net both have wonderful tech departments to walk you through the process. The actual set up of the cart is quite time consuming as it requires setting up the shipping, products and appearance of the cart.
9 Q. After my shopping cart and merchant account are set up, and I’ve paid for the code to be put on my site -- where do I email the code?

10 Q. Do you have anyone that can help me?
A. Martha can sometimes help after work hours. If you want to contract with her to do that, she may be willing to assist you for $20 an hour. However, that is entirely her decision. martha@chansonalkalinewater.com
11 Q. What if I want my own domain name?
A. Our recommended provider.
You can purchase a domain name and have it forwarded to your site.
12 Q. How do I set the domain name to forward?
A. Godaddy has a very helpful support staff that will walk you through it for free. Make sure that you ask them to "mask" it.
13 Q. Can I use the Chanson name?
A. No. The Chanson name can not be used in a domain name or business name.

16 Q. What shopping cart do you use?

17 Q. Can I use Pay Pal?
A. You can if you want to, but we do not recommend them. The value of our ionizers is very high and some of our orders were rejected for “security purposes” due to the price. We lost good sales from honest customers for this reason.
18 Q. Can I put my own logo on the site?
A. Yes.
19 Q. May I design my own site instead of using yours?
A. Yes. Please make sure that you use your "Authorized Chanson Dealer" seal on the site. The code is available on your dealer log in page after you register.
20 Q. Am I permitted to sell any of your products below the manufacturer’s recommended price?
A. Yes, you may sell the products for any price. However, you may not advertise or promote in writing or on your site any price other than the manufacturer’s price.
21 Q. Can I be an affiliate instead of a dealer?
A. Yes, become an affiliate at: http://www.chansonwater.com/afiliate.phpand make up to $350 on each referred sale you send to us.
22 Q. How long is the return period?
A. You decide that for yourself. Ours is 60 days. You may choose 14, 30, 60 or 90 days on your dealer web site. As a dealer, if your customer requests a refund, they need to ship the machine to you. It is your responsibility to refund their money. Failure to do so in a timely manner will cause a dealership to be revoked.
23 Q. What if my customer has a problem with their machine?
A. Your customer should contact you. You can then reach us by phone or email concerning the issue. We will walk you through a resolution, which you can then communicate to your customer. If the machine requires repair or replacement, we will give you a Return Authorization Number (RAN) so that your customer can ship the machine back to us.
24 Q. How does the return process work?
A. You will need to honor all of your customer returns yourself. Your customer returns the machine to you (within the allotted return policy time) and you refund their money. (See #22 for more detail)
25 Q. Do you charge shipping?
A. As an incentive, we do not charge our retail customers shipping. We do however, charge our dealers shipping and it is your choice to pass the cost along to your customer or not.
26 Q. What if I refer a dealer?
A. Dealers can refer dealers. You will receive a commission of $(call us for current amount) when you refer a dealer who buys in.

27 Q. Can I have my own dealers?
A. You can also have "sub dealers" a sub dealer is, an individual who does not buy in (Pay the $99.00 dealer fee and purchase two (2) machines). Sub dealers will purchase only thru you and will not contact us for any reason they are your sub dealer. You decide what commission your sub dealer will receive per sale; some of our dealers do a 50/50 split some do a 70/30 split etc. YOU MUST have your sub dealers sign our dealer terms and agreement. They must also be informed that no one can advertise the machines below the manufactures suggested price.
All machines purchased by your sub dealers, will count towards the 1 free machine per 10 sold that the referring dealer receives!
Example: You refer a dealer named Joe. Joe does not sell any machines but gets himself 10 sub dealers who each sell one machine per month, even though, Joe sold no machines you will receive one free each month!
28 Q. What am I responsible for with my sub dealers?
A. If you have sub dealers, you must: train them, process any returns for them, and provide them with marketing materials at your expense.
29 Q. What if my sub dealer wants to become a dealer?
A. When your sub dealer can afford the dealer buy in, they are eligible to become full dealers. Then, you will get the benefit of their buy in commission as well as a special gift (see #26).
30 Q. What if you have paid my commission and a dealer wants to return the buy in machines?
A. We do not take returns on the "dealer buy in" machines. If there is a problem with the machines, we repair or replace them but, we do not take returns on dealer machines.
31 Q. May I have an exclusive territory?
A. No. In life there may be a Mac Donald's on every 4th corner and a Burger King and Wendy's on the others but there is enough business for everyone. We expect the market to expand for you. You don't need to view other dealers as competitors; the market is expanding 600% a year right now.

Cleansing Waters had been looking for the perfect water for several years. We are a wellness center in Indianapolis that specializes in cleansing and restoring the body to good health through colon hydrotherapy, other detoxing modalities and nutrient rich foods and supplements. Our bodies have an amazing capacity to self-heal if we restore balance to them and support them with the proper nutrition.
This is where alkaline water ionizes comes into the picture. We have found that ionized/alkaline water nourishes us with an abundance of antioxidants, high alkalinity, oxygen and super hydration. It rids the body of acid waste which compromises our health. It is absolutely an integral part of our protocol for our clients.
It has also become an integral "stream" of income for Cleansing Waters. We charge $ 3.00 per gallon for this magic source for improved health. Very inexpensive for such a powerful tool but the costs are so low as it requires only tap water. I don't know of a more cost effective way to improve one's health.
Our retail water sales vary week to week but we estimate in the last 15 months or so we have had cash sales of bottled water of $14,000-16,000. We have personally sold about 30 ionizers and our group as a whole sold about 75-80 machines. Our business is continuing to grow steadily even in these uncertain times, something we are extremely thankful for. Water sales have brought in more customers to Cleansing Waters who have taken advantage of our other products and services. This is something we really did not anticipate but we are thrilled about.
